The first ships powered by Yuchai YC6MJ marine diesel engines completes successful water trials in Lianyungang

The YC6MJ model is a new design development  based on the proven YC6MK marine engine. The engine has been designed to improve the fuel efficiency and power characteristics of the existing engine. The fishing boats fitted with the YC6MJ engine have all shown superior performance advantages at cutting through the water, loaded trials at high and low water marks. The engines also demonstrated significant savings in fuel comsumption compared with major competitors in the domestic market of similar products. The successful trials were unanimously affirmed by Lianyungang vessels users. At the same time the Yuchai YC6MJ ship engines passed the inspection of local shipping authorities.
Lianyungang boat owners have now ordered many sets of YC6MJ engines to repower older boats and provide reliable power for new boat builds.
